A suspended driver has been taken back off the road after police say they were pulled over with no insurance and 10-year-old expired plates.
Peel Regional Police officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Kennedy Rd. and Church St. in Brampton, according to a June 14 post on Twitter.
Police say the driver had a suspended license for a previous conviction of driving while under suspension. The vehicle also had no insurance, and the license plates were not authorized for the vehicle and had expired back in 2013.
A photo shared by police shows a white pick-up truck loaded onto a flatbed tow truck.
Police have laid charges against the driver and the pick-up truck was impounded for seven days.
