Suspect on the run after Brampton convenience store hold-up

Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery in broad daylight at a convenience store in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say officers were called to a convenience store in the area of Hurontario St. and County Court Blvd. in Brampton around 1:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 25).
The store was robbed and a suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash and products from the store, police said. A weapon was reportedly seen during the robbery, but police have not said what type of weapon was used.
Police say no injuries have been reported and no suspect information has been released.
