‘Super’ lottery draw set for Christmas day in Canada

A “super” lottery draw is set for Christmas day in Canada.
Lotto 6/49 will be holding a “super draw” on Dec. 25 with 15 prizes of $100,000, in addition to the regular Classic and Gold Ball jackpot draws.
There is no extra cost to play and every Lotto 6/49 ticket for that date will automatically have a chance to win the prizes, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) notes.
For each $3 play, the Gold Ball number printed on the ticket will also be eligible for the additional prizes.
The odds of winning one of the additional prizes depends on how many tickets are purchased for that date, the OLG says.
Lotto 6/49 normally features just the $5 million Classic Jackpot, as well as the Gold Ball draw which is a guaranteed $1 million prize or the Gold Ball jackpot.
