The Sunday Antique Market breaks tradition to hold the popular market on two Saturdays this summer.
The market, known for its unique finds and vintage treasures attracts over 80 dealers who typically sell furniture, memorabilia and collectibles of all varieties.
The beloved Toronto market moved from St. Lawrence Hall to the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga in November.
While it has always been held on Sundays, this year organizers are introducing the Summer Saturdays series.
On Saturday, June 24, the market opens its doors at the historic Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga for a new shopping experience, according to a press release from the market.
For now, there are only two Saturday summer events on June 24 and Aug. 12.
“We are thrilled to introduce Summer Saturdays at The Sunday Antique Market,” says Marlene Cook the event organizer.
“We wanted to offer our loyal customers and new visitors alike an opportunity to experience the joy of antique hunting on Saturdays. It’s a fantastic way to kick off the weekend and spend quality time exploring the timeless items from the past.”
Vendors have “one-of-a-kind items” ranging from mid-century modern and home decor to rare collectibles and chic vintage jewellery.
In addition to the wide range of antique and vintage items available for purchase, the Capital B Bistro will also be open with a selection of pastries.
The Summer Saturday launch is Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Small Arms Inspection Building, 1352 Lakeshore Rd. E., Mississauga
Admission and parking are free.
