Summer temperatures to hit numerous cities in southern Ontario today

Warm temperatures have returned to southern Ontario today with highs anticipated to reach 20 C.
A release from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has indicated that numerous regions throughout the GTHA have already experienced some of these out-of-season temperature spikes.
Additional information in the report also indicated that while warm temperatures are cascading throughout the southern reaches of the province, it is dense population centres that are seeing highest examples of intensity.

According to a temperature map provided by ECCC, regions like Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Kingston are likely to see some of the most noticeable temperature changes throughout the day.
