Summer-like temperatures will hit Mississauga and Brampton this week

As autumn settles into Mississauga and Brampton, residents can expect a week of diverse weather patterns, ranging from warm sunny spells to the possibility of showers.
Today (Oct. 1) brings mainly sunny skies with temperatures reaching 28 C, above the seasonal average, and dropping to 16 C in the evening— remaining on the warmer side.
The week kicks off with a mix of sun and cloud on Monday. As the day progresses, the skies are expected to clear late in the afternoon, providing residents with a high of 27 C and a humidex of 32. The night is forecasted to be clear with a low of 17 C.
Environment Canada predicts a hot and humid Tuesday with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will soar to 29 C —making it feel like summer is back. The clear conditions continue into the night, bringing a low of 15 C.
According to meteorologists the sunny weather trend will continue into Wednesday, moving to 26 C. As night falls, there will be some cloudy periods, with temperatures reaching a low of 17 C.
Clouds move in on Thursday, as temperatures climb to 23 C, during the day. In the evening, the sky remains cloudy with a forty per cent chance of showers, and temperatures are set to drop to a chilly 10 C.
The Weather Network anticipates a mostly cloudy Friday, with a high of 18 C. Closer to the evening, the chance of showers increases to forty per cent, accompanied by a brisk 8 C—marking it as the coolest day of the week.
The week concludes on a cloudy note with a forty per cent chance of showers on Saturday. Residents can expect a high of 14 C during the day.
