Streetsville Santa Claus Parade in Mississauga cancelled this year due to COVID-19

Some not-so-merry news: Mississauga’s annual beloved Streestville Santa Claus Parade won’t be happening this year.

The event has been cancelled due to uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a recent statement from the parade’s committee.

“Due to the current COVID-19 conditions and future uncertainty, we will not be able to proceed with a Streetsville parade for 2020,” the committee said.

The next Streestville Santa Claus Parade is planned for 2021.

“We have decided to focus our efforts on planning for the best possible 2021 parade, where we can welcome back all of you and the many community organizations who have long been a mainstay of our parade.”
