Store robbed at Sherway Gardens in Toronto

Toronto Police are on the hunt for multiple suspects who carried out a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store inside a shopping centre in Etobicoke last Thursday.
The robbery reportedly happened at around 8:30 p.m., at the Cadillac Fairview Sherway Gardens shopping centre in south Etobicoke.
Investigators say three masked suspects entered a jewelry store, and one person used a hammer to smash display cases.
The suspects then made off with the stolen merchandise in a small white SUV, the license plate of which is unknown at this time.
Authorities have not provided the name of the jewelry store that was robbed.
Though it’s unclear how many customers and employees were inside the store during the incident, police say no one was injured.
Police have not confirmed the extent of damages to the store or the value of the stolen jewelry.
Additionally, surveillance images and descriptions of the suspects are currently not available.
Jewelry store robberies, particularly within malls, have been increasing with numerous incidents reported in Mississauga and Brampton.
