Starting today (July 26) and continuing until the clinic winds down in mid-August, St Catharines Seymour-Hannah vaccination clinic is now accepting daily walk-in appointments on a first-come, first-served basis for first and second doses between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.

As Niagara Health’s single largest clinic, there have been 242,275 vaccines administered at Seymour-Hannah. That means this one clinic alone has given nearly 40 per cent of the region’s total at 607,434 vaccinations.

Dr. Karim Ali, Director and Pandemic Preparedness Lead at Niagara Health, said vaccines are the biggest chance the region has of returning to some semblance of residents’ pre-pandemic lives.

“Getting fully vaccinated is the most effective thing you can do to protect yourself and the people around you, and help us get back to some sense of normalcy,” he said.

After Seymour-Hannah closes up shop, a smaller vaccination clinic will be opened at the St. Catharines hospital to continue vaccinating those who still need their first or second dose.

Residents also continue to have the option to book future date or same day appointments through the provincial booking tool or by calling 1-833-943-3900.
