Speeding fuel truck full of diesel leads to charge for Brampton company: police

Stopping a speeding fuel truck on a northern Ontario highway has led to charges for a truck driver and operator from Brampton, police say.

The OPP said on Friday that the traffic stop happened on Highway 11 in Temagami, approximately 160 kilometres north of Sudbury.

Police say the truck was loaded with diesel fuel and a photo shared by the OPP shows the driver was clocked at 120 kilometres per hour.

The 34-year-old driver and the truck operator from Brampton were both charged, the OPP says.
