Snowfall warning now in effect for Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington and Milton

A snowfall warning is now in effect for:

  • Mississauga
  • Brampton
  • Hamilton
  • Burlington
  • Oakville
  • Caledon
  • Halton Hills
  • Milton

Significant snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected on Wednesday.

There will be reduced visibility in heavy snow with rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. There are also isolated power outages that are possible.

The snow will start late Wednesday morning until very early Thursday.

A Texas low tracking northeastward is expected to bring snow to the area late Wednesday morning until midnight and possibly into early Thursday morning.

Snowfall accumulations of 15 cm are expected, with locally higher amounts of up to 20 cm possible.

Be prepared to adjust your driving to changing road conditions.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
