The sun has finally come out but cloudy, snowy conditions are in the forecast for southern Ontario.
After an unusually mild and foggy December, a cold front moved in for this first week of January. Many areas are finally getting some sunshine today (Jan. 4).
But the clouds are expected to roll back in on the weekend bringing a chance of snow in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Halton.
On Saturday (Jan. 6) the temperature will go up to -1 C with a drop to -5 C in the evening, according to Environment Canada.
There is a 60 per cent chance of flurries in the evening.
On Sunday, the chance for flurries decreases to 40 per cent and the temperature rises slightly to zero and -4 C in the evening.
It looks like the sun could make another appearance on Monday before the clouds return bringing more snow next week.
