Single-vehicle crash slows traffic near Pearson Airport in Mississauga, Ontario

A single-car crash near Highway 407 north of Pearson Airport in Mississauga has snarled Friday afternoon traffic as police investigate the collision.
Peel Regional Police said in a post to social media the man driving the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries in the wake of the collision, which occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at Airport Road and Highway 407.
Eastbound Highway 407 lanes at Airport Road were closed for the police investigation.
Police advise drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
