Shots fired again at same intersection in Mississauga

Shots were fired again at the same intersection in Mississauga early Monday morning, following a report on Friday.
There was a report of shots fired in the Lakeshore Road West and Mississauga Road area around 3:30 a.m. this morning (March 4), Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
Officers found evidence of gunfire.
At this time, there are no reports of injuries.
This incident follows another report of shots fired at a business on Friday (March 1). In the Friday incident, a business owner reported property damage shortly before 9 a.m.
They are two separate reports, a Peel Regional Police spokesperson confirmed with insauga.com.
The spokesperson couldn’t say if the shots were fired into the same building.
When contacted again, police said they were not releasing the addresses of where the shots were fired nor could they say if the two incidents were connected.
