Shooting sends man to hospital with ‘critical injuries’ in Brampton: police

One man has been rushed to hospital and suspects are on the run following a daylight shooting in Brampton, police say.
The shooting happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. when Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Inder Heights Drive in Brampton, east of Conservation Drive Park.
A male victim was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries while the suspects fled in a vehicle, police said.
The man in his 30s was transported to hospital in non-life threatening condition, a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedics Service told INsauga.com
No suspect or vehicle descriptions have been released but investigators say more information will be made available through updates.
Residents and drivers should avoid the area while investigators are on the scene.
