Shooting leaves 2 people injured in Brampton

Two people were injured in a shooting in Brampton.
The shooting happened at 15 Sea Lion Rd. in Brampton just after 7 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 10), Peel Regional Police said.
People in the area reported hearing six or seven shots in the residential neighbourhood off Bovaird Drive East and Southlake Boulevard.
Both victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said last night.
But in an update this morning, police said one man was in stable but life-threatening condition and the other man was in non-life-threatening condition.
There were also reports of a vehicle on the street damaged in the gunfire.
A white SUV vehicle fled the scene, police said. There was no further suspect information.
The shooting victims appear to have been targeted and there is no risk to public safety, police said.
