Police have laid charges against four residents following a shooting that took place earlier this year in Brampton.

On February 27, 2021, police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Fernforest Drive, finding that two vehicles were struck by bullets.

“There was no evidence of injuries. Forensic Identification Services attended and recovered several shell casings,” said police.

The next day, police say a Brampton residence was searched and a number of items seized: Dominion Arms Rifle, Airsoft gun, Smith and Wesson CTG, two bulletproof vests, a chest holster with a neck gaiter, extended loaded magazine, drum magazine, laser site, a loaded magazine, three boxes of ammunition, and Remmington .223 rounds.

On Saturday, June 5, investigators executed another search warrant in Brampton with the assistance of Peel police’s Tactical Unit.

“As a result, three firearms, several rounds of ammunition, a drum magazine, and a large number of drugs were seized,” police said.
