Sharp drop in gas prices this long weekend in Mississauga, Brampton and southern Ontario

With the weather turning cool this weekend there is some good news in Mississauga, Brampton and southern Ontario.

Gas prices are going down significantly this weekend for the long weekend in Mississauga, Brampton and across much of southern Ontario.

In August, the price went up again to more than 170 cents a litre and then dropped a bit in late August.

Now, as the weather is finally cooling off just in time for some autumn drives on the long weekend, the price is dropping again.

If you can hold off until this Friday to fill up, your vehicle try to do so.

Gas prices are expected to fall by six cents a litre throughout southern Ontario for this long weekend this Friday.

This would be the lowest gas price since early April of 2023.
