Driver airlifted to hospital after serious crash closes stretch of Highway 10 in Caledon

Police have closed off part of Highway 10 in Caledon after a serious crash on Monday afternoon (April 24).
Just after 2:30 p.m., the OPP says officers had responded to Hwy 10 near Boston Mills Rd. in the Town of Caledon for reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Police said the drivers of all three vehicles were transported to hospital, one of which was airlifted in an air ambulance. Crews did not disclose details on the injuries but say the collision is being treated as “serious.”
Emergency crews have closed Hwy 10 from Olde Base Line Rd. to King St., and police say drivers should plan ahead and find alternate routes as the closure will be in place for some time.
Police are asking heavy commercial vehicle traffic to access Airport Rd. via King St to the south, or via Olde Base Line Rd to the north.
