Sept. 7 Weather: Cloudy day with possibility of showers during day, evening in southern Ontario

It will be pretty much more of the same weatherwise on Saturday (Sept. 7, 2024) in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

Cloudy skies with the possibility of showers are on tap for the day and evening, says Environment Canada.

Residents will wake up to an overcast sky with a 40 percent chance of rain throughout the day. Wind will be northwest at 20 km/hr. and becoming light in the morning.

The wind will begin to increase as we had into the afternoon hours with the wind becoming northwest at 20 km/hr. and then gusting to 40 km/hr. near noon.

The high for the day will be 16 degrees Celsius. The UV index will be 3 or moderate.

There will be partly cloudy skies in the evening hours. There will be a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening and after midnight.

Wind will be northwest at 20 km/hr. and gusting to 40 km/hr. before becoming light later on during the evening. An overnight low of 7 degrees Celsius is expected.

There will be minutes less of daylight time as sunrise will come at 6:49 a.m. and then set in the evening at 7:44 p.m. In all, there will be 12 hours and 55 minutes of daylight time.
