Sept. 26 Weather: Sunny and mild day ahead for southern Ontario

Sunny days are back in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

After a couple of days of showers, and at times heavy rain, it will be mainly sunny on Thursday (Sept. 26), as per Environment Canada.

The day will begin with winds from the northwest at 20 km/h, before becoming light in the afternoon. A comfortable high of 23°C is expected, though it will feel more like 26°C with the humidex.

The UV index will be 5, indicating moderate levels of UV radiation. The skies will remain clear throughout the evening, and a chilly overnight low of 11°C is expected.

The sun is set to rise at 7:10 a.m. and then set at 7:09 p.m. In total, we will have 11 hours and 59 minutes of daylight time.
