Other than some morning fog, Saturday (Sept. 14) will be another bright, sunny day in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

Hot weather and clear skies will kick off the weekend, says Environment Canada.

Residents will wake up to fog patches, though those will dissipate in the morning hours. A high of 27 C is expected, though the humidex will make it feel more like a blistering 33 C.

The UV index will be six of high.

The evening will be just as nice with clear skies expected throughout the night. There will be an overnight low of 16 C.

The days continue to grow shorter as there will be four minutes left of daylight time. The sun will rise this morning at 6:57 a.m. and then go down in the evening at 7:31 p.m.
