Rogers cell, internet service down for customers in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton

Rogers cell and internet customers have been without service since approximately 2:20 a.m. Friday.
The outages have prevented many Canadians from contacting 9-1-1 and it has also led to Interac service disruptions.
As of 8:30 a.m., the company has not issued any formal communication regarding the outages, but according to a Rogers outage map, the issues are nationwide. Although, Ontario appears to be the most affected.
The hashtag #internetdown was trending Friday morning with many Canadians expressing frustration over the lack of telecommunication options.
