A stretch of road in Flamborough remained closed until early Tuesday evening (June 14) as the Hamilton police (HPS) investigated a single-vehicle rollover that occurred around 2:30 p.m.

The HPS are asking for the public help’s in investigating the crash and say witnesses who have not yet spoken to police should call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-546-4753 or 905-546-4755.

“No factors in the investigation have been ruled out at this time,” HPS said in a media release around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

Brock Road was closed between Concession 8 West and Regional Road 97 for over four hours. It reopened shortly after 6:45 p.m.

The southbound driver, who did not have any passengers in his silver 2-door vehicle, left the roadway and came to rest on its roof on the east ditch of Brock Road.

The man was transported to hospital and remains in critical condition.

Hamilton has had 13 traffic deaths so far in 2022. Eleven of the deceased were pedestrians.
