ROAD CLOSURE: Single-vehicle crash sends people to hospital in Mississauga

A single-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Mississauga sent its occupants to the hospital Sunday morning, prompting road closures in the area.
Peel Regional Police reported on social media that the crash happened at Winston Churchill Boulevard and Derry Road shortly before 6 a.m.
The vehicle’s occupants were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not specify how many people were in the vehicle or whether all occupants sustained the injuries.
The northbound lanes of Winston Churchill Boulevard between Aquitaine Avenue and Derry Road have been closed with police are advising drivers to take alternate routes.
