One person with serious injuries was rushed to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash along a busy intersection this evening in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the collision happened shortly after 5 p.m. near James Potter Road and Bonnie Braes Drive.

Updates on the condition of the victim who sustained serious injuries in the crash remain unknown.

Road closures are in effect on James Potter Road between Bonnie Braes Drive and Timbercove Road as emergency crews investigate.
