Residents in the area of Britannia Rd and Glen Erin Dr in Mississauga were startled by the sound of gunshots this evening (July 18).
According to a tweet by Peel Regional Police, the incident unfolded a little before 6 p.m., prompting a large police presence.
No victims have been located on the scene at this time.
Police are urging residents and commuters to remain cautious as they continue to gather information on the circumstances surrounding the gunshots.
