May 23 Weather: Sunny, warm, windy day in southern Ontario

Mississauga and Brampton just saw one of the warmest November weekends on record, but the warmth isn’t expected to last.

Both Friday and Saturday were the hottest days on record for Nov. 4 and 5, according to Pearson Airport weather data.

Friday saw a high of 20.4 degrees Celsius, surpassing the previous record of 20.1 C on Nov. 4, 1987.

Meanwhile, Saturday saw a high of 24.8 C. The previous warmest Nov. 5 was 2015, which recorded 20.4 C.

While temperatures have been unseasonably warm for November so far, the forecast for the upcoming week will see a drop to cooler, more seasonal temperatures.

Temperatures will hover around 12 C from Monday to Wednesday, then briefly climb to 18 C on Thursday before dropping again on the weekend.

Most of the week will see sunshine, but a chance of rain is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.
