The beef jelly is being recalled from the marketplace as it may contain a microbial contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may appear normal but can still cause illness. Symptoms include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache, and neck stiffness.
Pregnant women, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are at higher risk, which brings on mild, flu-like symptoms. However, the infection can result in premature delivery, newborn infection, or stillbirth. In severe cases, Listeria infection can be fatal.
There have been reports of illnesses linked to the consumption of the recalled product, though the exact number of cases remains unknown.
Risks: Poses health hazards.
What you should do: Throw the product in the garbage and contact a healthcare provider if you believe you’ve fallen sick from eating the beef jelly.

The nuggets are being recalled from the marketplace because it may contain plastic pieces in the meat.
Food contaminated with foreign objects has the potential to cause severe harm, including choking, injury, illness, damage to teeth or even death.
The recall does not specify a brand for the chicken nuggets. It is also unclear how many people have reportedly fallen ill after consuming the product.
