Transport Canada has issued a recall for some Porsches due to a headlight issue.

Officials said the affected models are the 2024 and 2025 Porsche Macan.

“On a small number of vehicles, a software problem could cause the high beams to be too bright,” the recall notice said.

“Canadian regulations specify a maximum brightness for high beams. High beams that are too bright could cause glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.”

Owners of the affected vehicles will be notified via mail and advised to go to a dealership to have the headlight unit reprogrammed.
