RECALL: Adult toy with risk of 'internal injury' pulled in Ontario

A recall has been issued for models of a vibrating sex toy due to a safety risk after at least one person was injured by the product in Canada, officials say.

Health Canada issued a recall on Thursday for the Nice Dream vibrating bullet with remote ring saying the device poses an “injury hazard.”

“The plastic may crack resulting in the end cap separating from the main body of the product, resulting in internal injury,” Health Canada says.

The agency has received one injury report as of Dec. 23.

The recall is in place for both the black and purple models of the sex toy with UPC numbers 782631237214 and 7826312377221 respectively.

Anyone who own the product should immediately stop its use, destroy and dispose of it.

Consumers can get a refund by contacting the Brampton-based importer BMS Enterprises, Health Canada says.

The affected products were manufactured in China and sold from January 2024 to November 2024. At least 13 of the affected products were sold in Canada.
