Rain almost all week expected in Mississauga and Brampton

Another round of cloudy and rainy weather is returning to Mississauga, Brampton and other parts of southern Ontario this week.
Although some residents might be singing the popular children’s song, “rain, rain go away,” the reality is that rain showers and cloudy weather are here to stay and will occupy most of the week.
Compared to the previous week there was a bit of a pattern with moments of rain and sunny breaks throughout the day—the best of both worlds as some might say.
According to Meteorologists as of today (Apr. 30) it marks the beginning of the heavy rainfalls. Temperatures will sit at 11 C with patches of fog sticking around until the afternoon. The rain will stop briefly before starting back up in the evening.
Monday brings the start of the work week but also the first day of a new month: May. The spring showers continue into the morning with a slight break in the afternoon while wind speeds are expected to reach up to 30 km/h. Temperatures will sit at a cool 9 C and fall to 3 C with a 70 percent chance of overnight rain.
Environment Canada predicts storm clouds for most of Tuesday with a 60 percent chance of precipitation accumulating to 5 mm.
More gloomy weather hits Wednesday as temperatures stay at a solid 10 C with a 40 percent possibility of rain.
With Thursday on the horizon The Weather Network anticipates sunshine to make an appearance back into the forecast. Temperatures will stay at a steady 11 C with cloudy periods.
As we shift into Friday rain is out of the picture (for now) as temperatures are expected to gradually rise to 13 C with a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day.
Saturday brings the most favourable day out of the entire week with temperatures soaring to 16 C and apparent sunshine for most of the weekend— probably a good time to take advantage of the warm weather!
