Province reporting 287 new COVID-19 cases, 26 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 287 new COVID-19 cases today, June 27 (down 59 from yesterday) and 12 new deaths (down one from yesterday). There are 66 new cases in Waterloo, 42 in Toronto, 38 in Grey Bruce, 26 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 16 in Porcupine, 10 in Hamilton, and 7 in Halton.
Since yesterday, 379 more cases are considered resolved and over 18,500 tests completed.
14,027,141 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario to date, with ICES reporting that the province has reached 73% overall vaccine coverage among those aged 12 and up.
This week on Wednesday, June 30, the province will move into Step Two of its reopening plan two days ahead of schedule, allowing larger social gatherings and for more establishments to reopen.
