Update: Power outage reported for more than 5,000 homes and businesses in Mississauga

More than 5,000 homes and businesses in Mississauga experienced a power outage this morning.
The outage was first reported in the Eglinton Avenue and Hurontario Street area of Mississauga around 10 a.m., according to a tweet from Alectra.
The outage was impacting approximately 5,234 homes and businesses at that time.
But at 10:23 a.m., that number was knocked down to 4,704 in the area of Eglington Avenue, Hurontario Street, Sorrento Drive, and Fairwind Drive, Alectra said.
A crew was dispatched.
The estimated time for power restoration is 12:11 p.m.
Update: Just after 11 a.m., Alectra reported that all power had been restored.
