Power outage leaves over 150 homes and businesses in the dark in Brampton

Crews are working on restoring power to over 150 homes and businesses in Brampton after a power outage on Wednesday (Aug. 2).
Alectra says the outage happened around 1:15 p.m. in the area of Central Park Dr. and Grenoble Blvd. in Brampton.
Some 156 customers were still without power an hour after the outage was first reported, and Alectra says workers have been sent to investigate the cause of the blackout.
Power is expected to be restored by around 4:00 p.m.
