Power outage in Mississauga leaves hundreds in the dark

A power outage has left close to 1,000 homes and businesses in Mississauga in the dark Thursday morning (Feb. 24).
According to Alectra Utilities, the outage is affecting 985 customers in the area bordered by Burnhamthorpe and Winston Churchill Boulevard.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
Crews are currently working to restore power which is expected to return by 8 a.m., the utility provider said.
