Possibly armed suspect on the run after business shot up in Brampton, B.C. man charged

One man from B.C. has been charged and investigators are looking to identify a second suspect after a Brampton business was shot up over the weekend.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. when Peel Regional Police say two men came to a business in the area of Rutherford Road South and Clark Boulevard in Brampton.
That’s when police say one of the men pulled out a gun and fired several rounds into the business.
No injuries were reported in the shooting and investigators say officers tracked down one of the suspects recovering two handguns, a loaded magazine and ammunition.
A 23-year-old from Abbotsford, B.C., was arrested and charged with multiple offences, but police say the second suspect is still at large.
The suspect is described as a South Asian male with a medium build, black hair, and a full beard. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt during the incident, but police say he may have switched clothing during his escape to a black sweatshirt with a large white “X” on the back.
Police say he may be armed and say not to approach the man if he is observed and to call 911 when it is safe to do so.
Tanmanjot Gill, a 23-year-old man from Abbotsford, B.C. has been charged with discharge firearm in reckless manner, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm and two counts of knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm, and other offences.
