Popular Tea Shop Closing Well-Known Location in Brampton, Relocating

It is truly the end of an era.
It is truly the end of an era.
Say goodbye to lion chais and lion chai-flavoured macarons in the heart of downtown Brampton, because popular tea shop T By Daniel is set to close its doors on Main Street for good on Thursday, February 15, at 9 p.m.
The well-known tea shop owned and operated by couple Daniel and Renata Lewis held a grand opening about four years ago at 46 Main Street North.
“We danced. We laughed. We sang. We made thousands of cups of tea,” said Daniel Lewis in a recent Facebook post.
While residents will no longer be able to take a stroll around Main and Queen or enjoy a festival at Garden Square with a cup of hot or iced tea from T By Daniel in hand, the closure is bittersweet — the tea shop is in fact relocating.
Where is T By Daniel going, you ask?
Sometime after February 15, you’ll find T By Daniel at Bramalea City Centre.
“We love our Brampton customers too much (so we couldn’t move too far) but it’s really just the next chapter in T By Daniel,” Renata Lewis told inbrampton.com in a recent email.
“With so many changes in retail, we feel its a step into a new and exciting direction for our brand. As entrepreneurs and owners of a small business we constantly have to hustle and find ways to strengthen our brand and we really hope to accomplish many more great and exciting things for our community in this new location.”
T By Daniel is hosting “The Last Dance” party at their Main Street location as a final farewell to downtown Brampton on Thursday February 15 from 6-9 p.m.
Further information about the new location’s opening (like the date!) has yet to be announced, but we at inbrampton.com will keep you posted on the details.
So, you’ll still be able to get your favourite T By Daniel blends (that Polo with the Prince, though), you’ll just have to travel to another part of Brampton for them!
