Polkadots Playland and Montessori Centre was temporarily closed after a Notice to Tenant of Landlord’s Termination Warrant was posted to its front door.

The venue features a large indoor playground including various climbers, bouncers and slides. It also boasts many party rooms equipped with a smart television, microwave, kettle and coffee maker.

Located at 305 Royal West Drive, the facility offers classes such as daily Kinder-Play Classes, which are perfect for 15 month to three-year-olds who want to develop basic math, language, science, yoga and art skills as well as Christmas, March break and summer camps for children four to 10-years-old.

The warrant states that the owners broke the lease agreement.

“We hereby give you notice that your tenancy is terminated by reasons of breaches of covenants in your lease, namely, a monetary breach in the amount of $46,290.54,” says Kennedy and Associates Bailiffs Inc. on behalf of Golden Gate Royal West Plaza. “We have taken possession of these premises and terminated your tenancy. Any attempt to re-enter these premises is unlawful.”

The letter went on to state that the owners of Polkadots Playland and Montessori Centre must pack up their belongings within five days.

The facility has since re-opened.
