There can never be too many bubble tea shops and Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga is about to get another one!

Gong Cha has set up its signage on the upper level of the shopping centre located at 5100 Erin Mills Pkwy.

According to their website, Gong Cha is the act of offering tea to the Emperor in ancient China as a tribute which is then consumed by Chinese Emperors.

Gong Cha was originally established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and now has locations worldwide.

The shop has an extensive range of drinks made with real fruit purees and teas are brewed every four hours for optimal flavour.

Some of the most ordered drinks include the Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea (a rich milk tea with brown sugar syrup), Earl Grey Milk Tea (a blend of Earl Grey tea with creamy milk), Mango Green Tea (green tea with mango fruit), and Matcha Milk Tea (creamy milk tea infused with matcha green tea powder).

Toppings like pearls (tapioca), pudding (smooth custard-like topping), and aloe vera (refreshing aloe cubes) are commonly added to these beverages to enhance the flavours.

Other than the coming soon sign, there is no official opening date for the shop.
If you’re still craving a drink from Gong Cha, you don’t have to travel too far; there is another location just a seven-minute drive away at 3465 Platinum Dr. inside unit 101.
