When it comes to choosing the next Premier of Ontario, Mississauga residents overwhelmingly go for…undecided.
An informal poll conducted by insauga.com on Instagram over 24 hours shows that 43 per cent of those who responded are undecided about who they’d cast their vote for in the next Ontario election, to take place June 2.
The question posed to readers was: “Who are you going to vote for in the provincial election on June 2?”
As far as the actual candidates are concerned, Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca led the way in the poll, garnering just 23.5 per cent of votes.
That was enough to edge out NDP Leader Andrea Horwath (18.5 per cent) and incumbent Conservative Premier Doug Ford (15 per cent).
In total, 892 people responded to the poll, with 384 saying they are undecided, 209 choosing Del Duca, 165 checking the box for Horwath and 134 selecting Ford.
Khaled Iwamura from insauga.com has talked to both Andrea Horwath and Steven Del Duca this week. Doug Ford was not available for an interview.
