Although many still don’t know how they will cast their ballot, of those who have decided most say they will return the Conservatives and Doug Ford to Queen’s Park in the upcoming provincial election.
A recent poll conducted by insauga.com shows that of the 1,374 respondents, 28 per cent (378) chose the Conservatives as the party they would be voting for on June 2.
The poll also shows the Liberals making a rebound this election as Stephen Del Duca’s party received 20 per cent of the votes (271 votes). The NDP come next with 14 per cent (186 votes).
Significantly, 38 per cent of respondents (539 votes) said they are still undecided, a significant amount considering the election has been looming for some time.
If this undecided block truly represents Ontario voters, it could mean a significant shift in the outcome and shows that with less than a month before the election, candidates still have time to convince voters to cast ballots their way.
