Police search for missing 12-year-old girl in Brampton

Police are on the lookout for a 12-year-old girl who went missing in Brampton on Tuesday night (July 4).
Peel Regional Police say a teenager named Jessica was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday near Vodden St. East and Rutherford Rd. North.
Family members and police are concerned for the 12-year-old’s well-being and are asking the public for any leads that might help locate the missing teen.
Jessica is described as standing approximately 5-foot-9-inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds with dark brown eyes and shoulder-length brown straight hair.
She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with pink and yellow graphics, grey jeans and white shoes.

Peel Regional Police are no longer releasing the last name or gender of a missing person in most cases, saying last names of missing persons will only be provided if there is “an investigative value to do so.”
