Police respond to reports of lawn mower blocking traffic in Mississauga

Police responded to a rather unusual traffic disruption Saturday evening.

At 9:32 p.m., police say they received reports of a lawn mower blocking traffic at Edwards Blvd and Derry Rd E near Hurontario.

“Officers are on the way to maintain lawn & order,” police said.

An update provided 17 minutes later said the officers were unable to locate the offending lawn mower. “It appears as though it was mow-tivated to move along on its own.”

Residents are asked to still be careful when travelling through the area.
