Police investigating fire at Brampton school

Peel police received a call at 11:16 am in regard to a fire in Brampton.

Police say Chiguacousy Public Secondary school has been evacuated.

There are no reports on injuries or the extent of the fire at this time, according to police.

UPDATE: Police say there were no students at the school and an adult was transported to the hospital.

UPDATE #2: Peel paramedics say one adult patient was transported in serious, non-life threatening condition to a local hospital with burns.
