Pizza place reviewed by popular YouTuber opens second location in Mississauga

A pizza place reviewed by a well-known YouTuber has opened a second location in Mississauga.

Pizza Nostra, at 362 Lakeshore Rd. W., just opened a second location on the east side of Hurontario at 245 Lakeshore Rd. E., the restaurant said in a post on Instagram.

The pizza place was founded in 2015 by brothers Marco and Andrea Grande, and Marco’s wife, Lilly, the website states. The brothers learned about the food industry from an early age working at their father’s butcher shop in Toronto.

Andrea learned about the pizza businesses at his cousin’s pizzeria in New Jersey.

“They are firm believers in the value of small-batch, hand-crafted foods that are made with passion,” the website description reads.

Pizza Nostra was featured on One Bite Pizza Reviews, a popular U.S. YouTube show by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports. Portnoy started in New York City but now reviews pizza from restaurants around the world.

“It’s so good – I could hammer like 10 of these, they are so thin and light,” Portnoy said while eating a slice of Pizza Nostra pizza in the episode.

The new location opened on Sept. 10.
