Pierogi shop shutting down Burlington location

Another pierogi store in Burlington will soon be gone.

Pierogi Me at Lakeshore Village Plaza (5353 Lakeshore Road) has announced it is closing up shop on May 5.

They announced the upcoming closure on social media recently.

“We regret to inform you that after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our store in Burlington permanently,” a post on Facebook reads.

As well as pierogi’s the store also offered other food items such as soups and pasta.

But operators of the business say they aren’t finished offering their products to customers.

Another Pierogi Me location in Ancaster will remain open and the product will be available at markets and some grocery store locations.

Specifically, Pierogi Me will be sold at the Centro Garden Farmers Market on Brant Street every Sunday from May 12.
