PHOTOS: Hit-and-run crash leaves man in life-threatening condition in Mississauga

A man is in hospital fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Mississauga last night.
Peel Regional Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle just after 11:30 p.m. near Dundas Street West and Old Carriage Road.
The 20-year-old victim was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries. Updates on his condition are unknown.
Officials have not released any further details about the victim, including his identity or place of residence.
Police say the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene. A description of the car or license plate number is not available at this time.
As of 7 a.m., both eastbound and westbound lanes of Dundas Street between Erindale Station and Old Carriage Road remain closed for investigations.
A video posted on social media shows a large section of the road blocked off by police tape, with Peel police cruisers and the Major Collision Bureau at the scene.

In the video, investigators appear to be photographing and collecting evidence, including debris that seems to be from the vehicle involved in the collision.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes. Police have not provided an estimated time for when the roadways will reopen to the public.
