PHOTOS: Car flips onto roof at shopping centre in Mississauga

Police are investigating after a vehicle reportedly struck a pole and flipped onto its roof in the parking lot of a busy Mississauga shopping centre on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports from the scene, there’s no word yet on the severity of any injuries or how many people were inside the vehicle when it collided with the large pole just outside a fast-food Chinese restaurant and near a pizza place at Heartland Town Centre at about 3:15 p.m.
In several photos (see below) from the Mavis and Britannia roads scene, Mississauga firefighters can be seen next to the overturned car as the large fallen pole lies nearby on the pavement.
There’s no word yet from Peel Regional Police on what caused the crash or the extent of any injuries to people involved.
