5 of the most expensive homes sold in Mississauga last month

Five of the most expensive homes sold in Mississauga in January come with luxury features.
Real estate brokerage Zoocasa has compiled the five of the most expensive homes sold last month in Mississauga. Features include saltwater pools, game rooms, modern kitchens and fireplaces.
These homes were all listed for well over the benchmark price of $1,295,900 for single-family, detached home in Mississauga, and far above the average price for all home types of $951,608 in December.
But they all sold for under the list prices.
Here are the five most expensive homes sold:
834 Father D’souza Drive
This four-bedroom home has recent upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms and basement unit.
The kitchen features new appliances, custom cabinetry and quartz countertops. There are seven fully renovated bathrooms with five being ensuite bathrooms. There is also a fully renovated legal basement unit with two bedrooms, kitchen and a separate entrance.
This home sold on Jan. 18 for $1,830,000, under the asking price of $1,889,000.
1772 Poets Walk
This four-bedroom home has a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a double wall oven and a stylish island. The deck boasts ravine views, and there is a fire pit plus a heated saltwater pool.
This home sold for $2,150,000 on Jan. 19, under the asking price of $2,488,000.
2160 Abbotswood Court
This modern, four-bedroom home offers a grand, open-concept floor plan with tons of natural light. There is hardwood plank flooring throughout, a floating staircase encased with glass and a custom-built glass wine wall in the dining area.
This home sold for $2,800,000 on Jan. 9, just under the $2,875,000 asking price.
955 Meadow Wood Road
This four-bedroom home is nestled in the Rattray Marsh area. Features include a four-sided gas fireplace accessible in the kitchen and sunroom, an office on the main level and a lounge and game room with a wood-burning fireplace in the basement.
This home sold on Jan. 11 for $2,900,888, under the asking price of $3,197,000.
70 Cumberland Drive
Located in the heart of Port Credit, this property sits on Lake Ontario with 50-feet of frontage and approximately 300 feet of riparian water rights. The two-bedroom home is described as quaint. There is also an in-ground pool with a view of the lake.
This home sold on Jan. 15 for $3,311,000, under the asking price of $3,898,500.
